What we do

VFX cleanups & compositing

The best cleanup work is the work nobody will ever see. Rigs, crew reflections, modern street furniture and one very persistent boom shadow — all gone before the online.

Clean-up & compositing

Every frame carries things the story doesn’t want — a modern aerial in a period drama, a crew reflection in a car door, weather that won’t hold across a sequence, signage from the wrong decade, rigs and tracking markers, wires, blemishes, whole elements that need to disappear as if they were never shot. vedrivfx exists to make those problems vanish. We return a plate to the world the script remembers, so the audience only ever sees the scene and never the work that held it together.

How we approach it

We work each sequence on more than one front, matching the method to the shot. Broad clean-up and rotoscoping are handled with an efficient first pass, so our artists’ hours go where they actually count. From there, we move shot by shot, hand-painting through technical, locked-off, and moving frames where precision leaves no room for shortcuts. Where an element has to be rebuilt rather than removed, we reconstruct it—crafting detail and setting it back into the scene as a clean background plate that sits naturally behind the drama. Speed where it’s safe, artistry where it matters, seamless integration as the standard we deliver against. The result is invisible: a finished frame that reads as true, with no seam left to find.

Where AI fits

We’re not an AI film company — we’re a VFX studio that uses AI where it earns its place. In cleanup that’s the grind: roto, matte generation and first-pass paint-outs across long, repetitive sequences where the answer is obvious but the hours are brutal. AI carries that first pass so our compositors spend their time on the hard frames — the ones with motion, edges and reflections that no tool gets right on its own. Everything it touches is checked, reworked where it needs to be, and finished to the same standard as the rest of the film — a tool in the pipeline, never a shortcut around it.
